Nixa.io - Technical Recruiter (Remote)

Nixa.io is a curated job platform whose main purpose is to connect developers with companies that are looking to hire remotely for long term positions. We offer a fast, optimized and reliable way of hiring remote developers for tech companies worldwide, by pre-vetting all candidates that end up becoming a part of our platform. This way we aim to solve 2 of the most common challenges of tech recruitment – the unequal distribution of talent and the high energy and time investment required by the usually lengthy recruitment processes. Our goal is to gather talented developers and highly attractive tech companies in one platform and match individuals with opportunities that they are not able to get elsewhere.

Nixa.io is an early-phase startup with a huge potential in the currently growing remote job market. We have been testing the platform in the market for the last 12 months and have already achieved both great and promising results. We are now looking for a person to help manage and handle the candidate side of the platform. This is an opportunity to influence and participate in an early phase startup and to get lots of responsibility early in your career. You will be responsible for the whole recruitment process of candidates from A-Z.

As a Technical Recruiter you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing candidates
  • Answering replies and incoming inquiries from candidates
  • Conducting phone and video screening with candidates
  • Sending out tests and provide feedback to candidates
  • Building candidate shortlists according to specific client needs
  • Coordinate with Client Success Manager to set up interviews
  • Be a go-to person for candidates on the platform
  • Keeping candidates active and engaged both through the screening process and as a part of the platform
  • Deliver top-notch candidate experience at all times

As a Technical Recruiter you will be given the chance to:

  • Influence our candidate strategy and value proposition
  • Influence the way we screen and assess candidates
  • Influence the choice of tools and tests
  • Create content and communication material to increase candidate experience
  • Take part in building up a tech recruitment platform with global ambitions


  • Outgoing, ambitious and eager to earn experience with recruitment and talent acquisition in a startup environment
  • Structured, flexible and able to manage different tasks at the same time
  • Self-going and takes ownership of tasks, but loves to be a part of a team
  • Able to speak and write English on a professional level
  • Finishing up or has just finished a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within relevant fields
  • 0-4 years of professional experience (part-time or full-time)
  • Within Central European timezone (+/- 2 hours)
