Hi there! We’re looking for a Lead DevOps to join our amazing team at Airthings and bring our solutions to the next level.

We as a company are…

An IoT company creating radon and indoor air quality devices and solutions for homeowners, building managers, and professionals. We are headquartered in the heart of Oslo with customers in more than 50 countries. We have almost 70 employees and counting, including scientists, engineers, developers and visionaries.

We as the development team are…

The development team is a small, but growing, autonomous team. We are trying to be as agile as possible and are continuously improving the way we work.

We are now looking for a Lead DevOps to join our team, working closely with our development team and data scientist to optimize our air quality devices. You will be the first DevOps in our team, and you will work with agile teams to provide production insight into running and operating software at-scale in a globally distributed highly available cloud-based system. You will guide the teams, improving collaboration and productivity, and help ensure that the devices are always available for our users. You investigate and troubleshoot issues and risks in a structured and timely manner, and have knowledge of how systems act together and fail together. You are familiar with working with AWS and Terraform, a team player and great communicator, as well as intellectual curious and eager to grow with us.

You are…

  • Experienced working with AWS and Terraform (or their close alternatives)
  • A team player and great communicator. Intellectually curious and innovative and eager to grow with the company

Nice to have…

  • Knowledge of Kotlin and git
  • Knowledge of (No)SQL database administration
  • Used to working with large amounts of data
