Tech Lead

Fredrikstad, Norway · Backend Developer

Description

Dignio is one of Norway’s most exciting health-tech companies at the moment, and the interest in our solutions has greatly increased in the last few years on an international level. With a holistic approach, we are delivering innovative solutions within healthcare technology which have an incredible impact on patients health and life quality.

Through our market-leading platform Dignio Prevent, we are connecting patients with doctors and other healthcare workers through Connected Care, where the patient is more involved in their personal health. Independent research shows that our solutions have very positive effects on the patients and the public health sector.

Since our start in 2010 we have come a long way, but our mission has just started, and we are now scaling up our organization to build the healthcare solutions of tomorrow.

To help us build a rock solid platform both for development and production, we are seeking a tech lead and architect that will be responsible for our technology platform end-to-end. You’ll be instrumental for driving continuous improvement of our infrastructure and technical security, and be involved in evolving the full stack platform to stay on top of competition. • Be responsible for cybersecurity on our platform
  • Ensure that our production environment meets the requirement for security and availability across the operating countries
  • Ensure that the development environment is efficient and supports high-quality standards
  • Be our go-to resource of open source technology, always staying updated on tech relevant to the company
  • Ensure that our architecture and technology is properly documented and approved

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • BSc, MSc or equivalent within Computer Science or other relevant fields of study
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience working with all stages of the development cycle
  • Good knowledge with Javascript, Python, and cloud (preferably AWS)
  • A weighted focus on backend development and cloud security rather than frontend
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Drive to document design and implementation of technical infrastructure

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with Angular
  • Experience with using Git or other version control tools
  • Comfortable with Docker or similar tools
  • Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or similar

We can offer:

  • A unique opportunity to be a key player in solving one of the biggest challenges the health care sector is facing
  • A strong and growing tech-environment
  • Competitive salary
  • Brand new offices located within walking distance from Fredrikstad train station
  • The possibility to work remote or from a location in central Oslo approximate two days each week
  • Company health and travel insurance
