Nixa.io - Remote Sales Representative

Nixa.io is a curated job platform whose main purpose is to connect developers with companies that are looking to hire permanent remote developers. We offer a fast, optimized and reliable way of hiring remote developers for tech companies worldwide, by pre-vetting all candidates that end up becoming a part of our platform. This way we aim to solve 2 of the most common challenges of tech recruitment – the unequal distribution of talent and the high energy and time investment required to hire technical talents. Our goal is to gather talented developers and highly attractive tech companies in one platform and match individuals with opportunities that they are not able to get elsewhere.

Nixa.io is an early-phase startup with a huge potential in the currently growing remote job market. We have been testing the platform in the market for the last 12 months and have already achieved great results. We are currently working with clients located all over the world and are looking to scale this global growth further. To accomplish this, we are in need of an extraordinary person to assist our CEO with sales activities. This is an opportunity to influence and participate in an early phase startup on a mission to disrupt traditional tech recruitment. As our Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will be:

πŸ‘Š Executing sales strategy and activities

πŸ‘« Establish, develop and maintain extraordinary business and customer relationships

πŸ“ Defining client profiles and perform needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

πŸ“š Preparing sales material (pitch deck, sales presentations, demos, templates etc.)

βœ… Prospecting: Identify potential clients and create prospect lists for outreach

πŸ“ž Cold-calling/-emailing: Contact prospects and book meetings

πŸ“Ž Coordinating sales efforts with CEO and conduct sales meeting if needed

πŸ“‘ Preparing offer and contracts for clients

πŸ’ͺ Close deals and onboard new clients

As our Sales Representative, you will get the chance to influence:

πŸ’Ό Sales strategy: Identifying and defining our customer segment, market position and product/market fit

πŸ’» Product/service strategy: Defining product roadmap

πŸ’° Price strategy: Price and payment models

πŸ“ˆ Growth Hacking: How to build sustainable relations with clients and candidates and how to nurture this relationship over time?


  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Located within Central European Timezone (+/- 2 hours)
  • 1-3 years of professional experience with sales (preferably with lead generation, cold-calling and sales meetings)
  • Some experience managing or leading full sales processes. This includes identifying and attracting new clients, understanding business needs, conducting sales presentations, negotiating terms and onboarding of new clients.
  • An interest for recruitment, tech and SaaS platform
  • Outgoing, ambitious and eager to gain experience with sales and growth hacking in a tech startup environment
  • Structured, flexible and able to manage different tasks at the same time
  • Self-going and takes ownership of tasks, but loves to be part of a team


  • Valuable experience in scaling and growing a tech company from scratch
